Where Intelligence Meets Enforcement

From day one, the vision behind CODIN — the Correctional and Detention Intelligence Network — was bigger than just a concept.
It was a call to action....

My goal was to establish a unified front among law enforcement, corrections, and prosecutors, enabling them to collaborate closely and ensure public safety, officer safety, and secure correctional environments. Whether at the local, state, or federal level, we all share the same mission: protecting our communities through coordinated, intelligence-driven action.

I created CODIN as a nonprofit organization because this work is not about profit — it’s about people. It’s about building trust, breaking silos, and serving the public good without barriers or bureaucracy. By choosing a nonprofit structure, I ensured that CODIN would remain mission-focused, transparent, and sustainable — guided by service, not sales.

The challenges we face are real and growing. Crimes committed inside our prisons often mirror — or directly fuel — criminal activity on our streets. These aren’t isolated events. They are part of an organized network of influence, power, and violence. In too many cases, prison walls don’t stop the problem — they conceal the command center.

We must confront the reality that every crime behind the wire has consequences beyond it — in our counties, cities, and neighborhoods. And far too often, those crimes are being orchestrated from within by organized criminal networks operating with precision and reach.
CODIN was built to change that.

As a nonprofit, CODIN is now positioned to receive support, build partnerships, and empower agencies at all levels to do what they do best — work together.
We are not here to replace existing tools or compete with private platforms.
We are here to bridge the gap, facilitate real-time intelligence sharing, and unite law enforcement, corrections, and prosecutors with one common mission.
The goal is simple but urgent: to disrupt, dismantle, and destroy the criminal networks operating inside and outside our facilities.

And most importantly — CODIN levels the playing field.

Regardless of an agency’s size, budget, or location, CODIN ensures everyone has a seat at the intelligence table. Rural departments, under-resourced jails, and overburdened prosecutors can finally plug into the same network, the same intelligence, and the same unified mission as major agencies.

We do this through:
-
Enhanced intelligence sharing
-
Coordinated operations
-
Relentless, unified, and proactive enforcement strategies
This isn’t just a platform — it’s a movement.
By forming CODIN as a nonprofit, we opened the door for collective impact — and we’re just getting started....I hope you join us!
